A media player monitor originally written for just iTunes, I got tired of having it bloat my system so I rewrote the code to use the NowPlaying (Beta) plugin.

To change the player it interacts with look on the support page for the new player's name to the plugin.

hmm, can't seem to get this working with Spotify. I can use the Play, stop and skip buttons, and it shows the artist and the track name, but not the progress bar, time signature or album title. Anything you can suggest?

There is no way to monitor those with the current nowplaying plugin, at least for the spotify player, I am gonna try to make an update to do it, but I don't know how it will work.

h1 dude the player is gr8 i have a really noob questin:i changed the palyer name to windows media palyer and now i can control it but it says winamp and cant control the sound doesn show trk time and album cover what did i do wrong??

Ok, make sure that line 22 reads "PlayerName=WMP" it should be in the "MeasurePlayer" section and it should read everything perfectly fine, at least it will work on version 2.5 of Rainmeter and Windows 7 I am not sure if the plugin is compatible with windows 8 version of WMP.

It says winamp because that is what it is coded to say, just edit the skin and find the "MeterText" section and change the line "Prefix="Winamp"" to whatever you want it to be. As for the track listing I will have to look into it myself I only use Winamp so I was unaware of track info not displaying.

Then change the "PlayerName=*" to "PlayerName=CAD" in the MeasurePlayer section of the skin. Then enjoy.
